What does Yeats remember about his
grandmother?
Yeats grandmother was a very gentle, patient and kind-heart
woman. She looked after her family with affection. She went round the house
every night to see that the doors were locked and there was no burglar hidden
anywhere,
She cared for other and did many deeds of charity, she loved
her garden and liked to paint the pictures of her favorite flowers. Yeats could
not appreciate her work in his childhood. When he saw some of his paintings in
later years. He was amazed by the beauty of form and delicate details. Yeast
grandmother punishing him only ones. He was playing with a servant who in
horseplay, pulled his shirt out of trousers. His grandmother didn’t approve of
this. She told him to eat his dinner in his room and not at the dining table
with other members of the family.
