Gloria Emerson is an American.
Writer. She worked as a foreign
correspondent for New York Times from 1965 to 1972. She described her strange experience
of jumping form an aero plane. The motive behind her jump was to surprise the
people about her bravery and extraordinary power in fact, she wanted to
surprise her colleagues at the newspaper office. She was timid and weak woman.
She could not think of jumping from an aero plane, she was not physically fit.
She had bad back bone and moved her ankles. Her eye sight was also weak.
She was afraid of driving. However, she wanted
to do something a big to make herself prominent in the eyes of the world.
Nobody could expect that she could jump from an aero plane. When she was
declared to jump from an aero plane, her friends were surprised. One of her
friends advised her not to take a risk for her life. It would be break her
bones. Some of her friends were pleased to come to know that she was doing a
brave work. Everyone, was sure that she would be harm herself. But she
surprised everyone by making a successful jump and proved that she was better
than the common people inspire of being disabled.
